Dr. Huda Alyahyawi has been certified by the American Board in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry and Neurology. After obtaining her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from King Abdulaziz University in 2005 and continued to Tufts University, USA, where she underwent various training programs. These programs include Clinical Observership & Research Education Program and a General Adult Psychiatric Residency Training Program. She was also a clinical fellow in psychiatry psychotherapy and a clinical research fellow in Clinical Research and Translational Science at Tufts University. At Tufts University School of Medicine she was a part of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.
Dr. Huda Alyahyawi has substantial working experience. She completed a medical internship in St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, and in Tufts University School of Medicine. She also completed her residency within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Huda was a postdoctoral research fellow at Tufts University and at Tufts Medical Center. She also spent time in the Sackler School of Biomedical Science which is a part of Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
Dr. Huda is currently an Assistant Professor and Consultant of Clinical Psychiatry at the King Abdulaziz University’s faculty of medicine. She is interested in early detection and intervention of Autism Spectrum Disorders in addition to all neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive disorders.
