Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapist and Counselor
Nour is a dedicated psychotherapist who works primarily with adolescents, youth and adults. She completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She has worked in several psychiatric facilities and mental health centers both in Cairo and Jeddah, which exposed her to a diverse clientele from different racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds.
Nour works with a variety of psychological and emotional problems including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship and family difficulties, anger management and self-esteem issues. She offers individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and parenting sessions.
Her goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive and non-judgmental setting that enables her clients to safely explore and express their thoughts and feelings. She believes in integrative therapy that is tailored for every client’s needs and issues. She uses techniques from different schools of thought such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Existential Therapy. She also incorporates MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) in her work.
